Core Course Key

• A1, A2 = first and second parts of a sequence fulfilling part A(2-semester sequence) of the Natural Science requirement of the Arts & Sciences Core Curriculum. Note that the first part of a 2-semester sequence can also be taken on its own, in which case it fulfills part B.
• The sequences ASTR 1010-1020 and ASTR 1000-1020 are both valid 2-semester sequences satisfying part A. The difference is that ASTR 1010 has a lab, while ASTR 1000 does not. Note that the second part of the sequence in both cases is 1020, NOT 1200.
• B = fulfills part B(non-sequence course) of the Natural Science requirement of the Arts & Sciences Core Curriculum.
