"New Results from the Cosmic Origins Spectrograph on Hubble"

Abstract:

Summary of recent scientific results form the Cosmic Origins Spectrograph (COS), which was installed on the Hubble Space Telescope in May 2009. COS has rejuvenated high-throughput far-ultraviolet spectroscopy of the interstellar and intergalactic medium, hot stars, quasars, galaxies, and extrasolar planet transits.
