In this talk, I will discuss observations that aim to image forming planets that are still embedded in protoplanetary disks. These observations are challenging, and I will discuss how small signals are extracted from the data, as well as the reliability of detections. To date, several candidates have been identified, with tantalizing suggestions of multiple (proto-)planets in some cases.
