"Demographics of Astrophysical, Planetary and Space Sciences: 25 Year Perspective"

Abstract:

Over the 25 years I have been in the APS Department I have been following how the demographics of our field has changed. The statistics for the separate fields show noticeable differences. I have gathered data from various surveys (e.g. NRC Decadal Surveys, AIP’s Statistical Division, etc) and compiled a review of how the demographics are evolving.
